I Came IN to Stay IN
Praise the Lord, Grace & Peace great people of our “Great God”…JESUS!
As I evaluate my walk in Jesus Christ, I appreciate it more now, than I’ve ever have before. Someone would have to be blind if they cannot see that these are the last and evil days! The signs given are so prevalent, but yet people who hear truth, and have experienced the goodness of God walk around like zombies controlled by a spirit that is not of God. Hence I began to think about brother Noah and the Ark that God instructed him to build for his escape. This amazing foreshadow points us to Jesus Christ for our salvation, to cover and protect us from the wrath and judgment that shall come upon this wicked world! For this Golden Nugget I would like to provoke the thought “I Came IN to Stay IN” I will use the following scriptures to establish my premise and provoke further gospel provocation…
Heb 11:6-7 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (7) By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Gen 7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
Please note that it had never rain upon the earth before, for the earth was watered by the dew that came out of the earth. I call your attention first to the 7th chapter of Genesis, first verse. When God spoke, not Noah, but it is God. “The Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and thy entire house into the ark.”
Jesus Christ connected His own return to this world with that flood: “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.”
I believe the story of the flood just as much as I do the 3rd chapter of John. I pity any person that doubts the Word of God! The preacher King Solomon states in Pro 6:20-23.. My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
I have noticed that when a person does not believe the Word of God they will pick the Bible to pieces for socratic purposes. My brothers and sisters it is our instructions for this life and beyond, and therefore if we do not follow it; things that could of been done in five minutes takes us five years to accomplish because we did not acknowledge nor follow it.
Please notice Saints that 120 years prior to the flood God spoke the word to Adam when he was 810 years old in Genesis 6, Noah had received the details of this dire judgment. God said that on account of the wickedness of the world He was going to destroy the world (souls) by water. We can have no idea of the extent and character of that antediluvian wickedness. The Bible renders fervent expression, in an effort to emphasize this wickedness.“God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at His heart. . . . The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.” Men lived five hundred years and more then, and they had time to mature in their sins.
For 120 years from the decree of judgment God tolerated these antediluvians. For God never smites without warning, and they had their warning. Every time Noah drove a nail into the ark it was a warning to them. Every sound of the hammer echoed, “I believe in God.” If they had repented and cried as they did at Nineveh, I believe God would have heard their cry and spared them. But there was no cry for mercy. I have no doubt, that they ridiculed the idea that God was going to destroy the world!
My brothers and sisters all manner of ridicule was made of Noah and his ark, the business men went on buying and selling, while Noah went on preaching and working. They perhaps had some astronomers, and I’m sure they were gazing up at the stars, and saying, “Don’t you be concerned, there is no sign of a coming storm in the heavens. For we are very wise men, and if there was a storm coming, we would be able to read it in the heavens.” And they had geologists digging away, and I’m sure they said, “There is no sign in the earth.” Even the carpenters who helped build the ark might have made fun of him, but they were like lots of people today, who will help build a church, and perhaps give money for its support, but will never enter it themselves! 2Ti 3:1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Saints things in Noah day are just like it is today, things went on as usual. Little lambs skipped on the hillsides each spring. Men sought after wealth and pleasure! Noah had to of set his face like a flint, because he was deaf to the voice of men, and did not agree with their wickedness in order to hear the voice of God when He told him to build the ark.
I can imagine 100 years have rolled away, and the work on the ark ceases. Men probably said, “What has he stopped work for?” He has gone on a preaching tour, to tell the people of the coming storm…that God was going to sweep every man from the face of the earth unless he was in the ark. But he cannot get a man to believe him except his own family. Some of the old men have passed away, and they died saying: “Noah is wrong.” Poor Noah! “He has lost his mind” Wow my brothers and sister as a preacher and pastor I don’t know if I would of had the grace to work for 120 years without one convert outside of my family. But God gave Noah special GRACE to continue, and hence he just worked on, believing the word of God.
My brothers and sister reckoning time has to be accomplished… now 120 years were up. In the spring of the year Noah did not plant anything, for he knew the flood was coming. I am sure the people said: “Every year before he has planted, but this year he thinks the world is going to be destroyed, and he hasn’t planted anything.”
I can imagine one beautiful morning, not a cloud to be seen, Noah has received his communication. He has heard the voice that he heard 120 years before, that same powerful voice. Perhaps there was silence for 120 years. But the voice rang through his soul once again, “Noah, come thou and thy entire house into the ark.”
Please notice the word “come” occurs about 1900 times in the Bible and this is the first time it is mentioned. It meant salvation. You can see Noah and all his family moving into the ark. They are bringing with them only what is required.
Some of Noah’s neighbors probably said “Noah, what is your hurry? You will have plenty of time to get into that old ark. What is your hurry? There are no windows and you cannot look out to see when the storm is coming.” The key is my brothers and sisters; he heard the voice of God and obeyed.
Some of his relatives might have said, “What are you going to do with all your property and all the things you are leaving behind?”
I’m sure Noah said, “I don’t want them, the storm is coming.” He tells them that the day of grace is closing, that worldly wealth is of no value, and that the ark is the only place of safety (a Type of Christ and HIS CHURCH). Saints we must perpetually bear in mind that the things in this life that we think so much of, will soon go down; they only run for a finite time, not for eternity. The heavens will be on fire, and then what will property, honor, and position in society be worth?
The first thing that alarms them is, they rose up one morning, and wow the heavens were filled with the fowls of the air. They were flying into the ark, two by two. They came from the desert; they came from the mountain; they came from all parts of the world. They were going into the ark. It must have been a strange sight. I can hear the people cry, “Great God! What is the meaning of this?” And they look down on the earth; and, with great alarm and surprise, they saw little insects creeping up two by two, coming from all parts of the world. Then behold! there came cattle and beasts, two by two. The neighbors cried out, “What does this mean?” They ran to their leaders and wise men, who had told them there was no sign of a coming storm, and asked them why is it that the birds, animals, and creeping things are going toward the ark, as if they were guided by some unseen hand.
Well, the leaders and wise men said, “We cannot explain it; but don’t worry; God is not going to destroy the world.” Business had never been better. Do you think if God was going to destroy the world, He would let us go on so prosperously as He has? There is no sign of a coming storm. Whatever made these creeping insects and these wild beasts of the forest to go into the ark, we do not know. We cannot understand it; it is very strange. But there is no sign of anything is going to happen. The stars are bright, and the sun shines as bright as ever it did. Everything moves on as it has been moving as it has in the past. You can hear the children playing in the street. You can hear the voice of the bride and bridegroom in the land, and all is merry as ever.” but the words states… 2Pe 3:3-6 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
I can imagine after the alarm passed away, and they fell back into their regular courses. Noah comes out and says: “The door is going to be shut. Come in. God is going to destroy the world. See the animals, how they have come up. The communication has come to them direct from heaven.” But the people only mocked him.
My brothers and sisters did you know, when the 120 years were up, God still gave the world seven days’ grace? Did you ever notice that? If there had been a cry during those seven days, I believe it would have been heard. But there was none.
The fulfillment of the 120 years had come to past, the last hour, the last minute, and the last second. God Almighty came down and shut the door of that ark. No angel, no man, but God Himself shut that door, and when once the master of the house has risen and shut to the door, the doom of that world was sealed; and the doom of that old world was forever sealed. The sun had gone down upon the glory of that old world for the last time. They could hear from a distance the mutterings of the storm. They could hear the thunder rolling. The lightning began to flash, then the storm busted upon them; all of a sudden that old ark built by Noah’s was worth more than the whole world to them.
I want to say to any scoffer who reads this Golden Nugget that you can laugh at the Bible, you can laugh at ministers and the saints that God speaks through, but the hour is coming when one promise in the Bible will be worth more to you than ten thousand false temporal hopes that the world has to offer! GOLDEN NUGGET!
Saints, all of a sudden the windows of heaven were opened and the fountains of the great deep were broken up. The waters came bubbling up, and the sea busted its bounds, and leaped over its walls. The rivers began to swell. The people living in the lowlands fled to the mountains and highlands. They fled up the hillsides. They left their homes to come to the ark! They pounded on the ark. I’m sure Noah heard them crying and wailing…”Noah! Noah! Noah! Let us in.” “Noah! Let us in. Noah! Have mercy on us.”“I am your nephew.”“I am your niece.”“I am your uncle.”I am your Aunt”..etc.
I’m sure Noah had compassion for them, but within his spirit he could only reply: “I would like to let you in; but God has shut the door, and I cannot open it!” It remind me also what JESUS is going to do after the White Throne Judgment that is depicted in Rev 20:13-15 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Rev 21:3-4 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
God shut the door! When the door is shut, there is no hope. Their cry for mercy was too late; their day of grace was closed. Their last hour had come. God had pleaded with them; God had invited them to come in; but they mocked at His invitation to repent! They scoffed and ridiculed the idea of a severe flood. Now it was too late. My brothers and sisters you got to stay Raptured ready! And if you are not ready please get Ready! GOLDEN NUGGET!
God did not permit anyone to survive to tell us how they perished. When Job lost his family, there came a messenger to him: but there came no messenger from the antediluvians; not even Noah himself could see the world perish (because it was only one window, and that was located on the top of the ark to look toward heaven). The psalmist states in Psa 5:3-7 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
If he could, he would have seen men and women and children dashing against that ark; the waves rising higher and higher, while those outside were perishing, dying because of unbelief. Some thought to escape by climbing the trees, for they thought the storm would of soon ceased; but it rained on, day and night, for forty days and forty nights, and they are swept away as the wave’s dash against them. The leaders, astronomers, and great men called for mercy; but it was too late. They had disobeyed the God of mercy. He had called, and they refused. He had pleaded with them, but they had laughed and mocked. But then the time came for judgment instead of mercy.
The time is coming again when God will deal in judgment with this world. It is sooner than we think; we know not when, but it is sure to come to pass. God’s word will not return unto Him void! What then will become of your soul? Are you taking heed to His loving call, “Now come, thou and thy entire house, into the ark.” Twenty four hours before the rain began to fall, Noah’s ark, if it had been sold at auction, would not have been worth the price of kindling wood. But twenty four hours after the rain began to fall; Noah’s ark was worth more than the entire world. Every man or woman living during that moment would of given up everything for a seat in the ark. Even today many turn away and mock what is required to please God, many in this world often say “I believe in Christ!” but their lives suggest that they would rather be without Him than to have Him! GOLDEN NUGGET!
My brothers and sisters keep in mind, the time is coming when Christ will be worth more to you than ten thousand worlds like this. Also bear in mind that He is offered to you now. This is the day of Grace; it is the day of mercy. You will find, if you read your Bible carefully, that God always preceded judgment with Grace. Grace is a forerunner of judgment. He called these men in the days of Noah in love. They would have been saved if they had repented in those 120 years. When Christ came to plead with the people in Jerusalem, it was in their day of Grace; but they mocked and laughed at Him. He said: “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!” Forty years afterward, thousands of the people begged that their lives might be spared; and 110,000 perished in that city.
Please hold on to Christ, for these are most definitely the last days as evil men, and women wax worse and worse in sin; and also the carnal backslidden saints who has left the Ark and perpetually mock Gods word by the wayward life they live!
I don’t know about you, but I, Donney Delary Faulk will continue to embrace the stated fact established in 1Th 4:11-18 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing. But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
